The idea for Invisibobble (Germany) began to take shape during Sophie's first semester at university. University is the time in a girl's life when she wears her hair up all the time. Sophie loved wearing her hair up, but one thing kept bothering her. She suffered from headaches every morning, and her hair always had that nasty bob left by the rubber band.

It took the Invisibobble team 6 months and the help of several German technicians to design the very first invisibobble hair tie with the right material and specifications. in 2012 the first test launch took place in Germany, and the small company spent 12 months collecting customer feedback to continuously improve the product. Finally, in 2013, it was time to bring Invisibobble to the international market. International demand has grown since then. Invisibobble is now distributed worldwide!
