Germix UV-C tool sterilizer

The Germix UV-C Tool Sterilizer is a convenient way to safely and effectively disinfect tools without the use of chemical solutions or high temperatures. The operation of the device is based on the bactericidal effect of UV rays - ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 254 nm falling directly on the surface effectively destroys living forms of microorganisms.

The device with a simple design automatically turns off the UV lamp when the drawer is opened - this guarantees the safety of both the specialists performing the procedures and the customers.

The device can be used in every hairdresser or beauty salon. This allows for efficient dry disinfection, during which the tools are protected from mechanical damage or wear. The device perfectly disinfects the surfaces of tools such as scissors, combs, brushes, tweezers, nippers and razor blades. In order to properly prepare instruments for sterilization, they must be washed and dried, and more complex structures must be disassembled. Disinfection is effective when the rays fall directly on the tool. The whole process takes 30 to 45 minutes.

It is a method of disinfection that uses far ultraviolet (wavelength 100-280 nm, especially 254 nm, i.e. UV-C) to kill or neutralize microorganisms by destroying the nucleic acid and breaking the DNA chain. Remember that this is an auxiliary method and does not replace autoclave sterilization - it mainly affects living microorganisms, not spores.
