Sterisept wipes are perfect for the disinfection of both invasive and non-invasive medical devices and alcohol-intolerant surfaces. They are an ideal choice for quick use: in the patient environment, on examination couches, trolleys, chairs, operating tables, massage mattresses and other frequently touched surfaces.
Sterisept wipes have a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity:
- Effective against bacteria, including resistant strains such as MRSA and VRE.
- Effective against mycobacteria, such as Mycobacterium avium and terrae.
- Effective against fungi, yeasts, viruses (HBV, HCV, HIV, Rota, Vaccinia) and spores, e.g. Clostridium difficile.
Suitable for use on surfaces made of: stainless steel, glass, aluminum, copper, ceramic, plastic, rubber, silicone, acrylic and plexiglass.
Sterisept wipes are ready to use. Open the lid of the box and pull out the impregnated wipe up to the perforated area. Tear off the wipe by pulling sharply at a narrow angle. After tearing off the wipe, close the lid immediately to prevent the wipes from drying out.
Clean the surface thoroughly with the impregnated wipe, wetting it completely. Contact time is at least 60 seconds. If the surface is heavily contaminated with organic matter, such as blood and secretions, first wipe off the organic matter with one wipe and finish the procedure with another wipe.
100 g of the product contains the following active ingredients: didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC), 0.45 g; N-(3-aminopropyl)-N-dodecylpropane-1,3-diamine, 0.45 g.
